Haha I tried the same thing with Control and found out I had to download the non Series X version. I went ahead and did it and got the achievement.

The damn headset is already showing out of stock.

Shit. I fell asleep for an hour or so and didn't get my order in either. I wouldn't doubt some asshole scalpers grabbed a few hundred of them for Ebay for $1,000,000.00 each on March 16th.

I just tried and can't reach the pre order page anymore.

Edit: I was able to reach the page and I saw when it loads, the presorder button is lit for a split second before greying out and saying out of stock. So I refreshed the page and hurried up and clicked preorder as soon as it lit up. I got one in my cart but can't check out because it says this item is out of stock either remove it or add it to your wishlist.

Maybe I didn't pay attention before but it seems like ever since this damn pandemic people have been hoarding and scalping crap like crazy. From toilet paper, to soda to game consoles and headsets. I am sick of it.

It's gotten worse since Covid. I've followed and hated scalping/scalpers for at least 15 years now. It's gotten so much worse with the internet making this "hey guys, I just bought 500 PS5's!!!" so much easier over when you actually had to go to a regular store to buy something. I just don't understand why every single online store won't do a wait list though. Sure the scalpers may try to scoop up all of those spots too but will they want to wait weeks/months to get those orders to flip? Or maybe only allow say 2 systems per credit card and address. It would help solve this damn scalper issue a little. I just can't see Citibank letting me run up 50 different dummy account numbers and shipping to 50 different addresses so that would have to be an obstacle scalpers would have trouble getting around you would think. It's just that no one cares about the end customer. As long as they get paid who gives a damn if the end customer can't get that $500.00 game console for less than $2000.00. It's like when this one guy bought 4 Dodge Challenger Demons to immediately flip for almost 3 times(and even higher) the retail cost.

Something seriously needs to be done about this stuff. I always hear about free market, that's how capitalism works, etc but screw that. We don't need to be so damn greedy over everything and no one should have to pay $50.00 for a single roll of toilet paper like many did back in the middle of that hoard last year for example. For quite a while the local grocery stores were limiting certain things just to prevent this type of behavior and I remember it pissing off the people who just wanted to flip it. I remember having a hard time finding cheese for a while. Like why would you hoard cheese? It has a limited shelf life. I still get weird looks when Kroger runs something 10 for $10 but I maybe only buy 4 because it's not something I need or want 10 of because I guess I should be hoarding too.


Now back on the headset, I have one in my cart and in my saved for later so I'll have the backup save for later in I see something I want to buy between now and March. I'll just refresh the page every so often and if the order can be placed I will.

I knocked out all of the weekly Game Pass quests last night and today. I used Human Fall Flat for the get an achievement in GP but ended up getting I think 5 of them in the end. I was having a hell of a time joining any games so I ended up making my own lobby. I ended up being by myself for I think 15 minutes and was just about to give up when 2 people popped in. A few minutes later and I had the full 8 people. I wanted to quit right after some random achievement popped but then I thought about how hard it was for me to get into a game with others so I stayed and kept my lobby going. After I think 3 levels we beat the game and watched credits for what seemed like 10 minutes as we fell through them. When the game restarted no one left so we ran through it again. The people in my lobby flew through the first 4-5 levels in no time at all and maybe 30-45 minutes after those levels we beat the game again popping an achievement for running the entire game in one sitting. After that I quit because at that point I didn't feel guilty about cutting people loose since we ran a full game from start to the end.

Now I have 81,307 points. Just 10,000 more for $100.00. Hopefully those damn headsets are back in stock by that time. I doubt it but I can hope.

So the new Microsoft wireless headsets are up for pre order on Best Buys site. I clicked to pre order and i get an error message. what the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

In fact you can't add anything to your cart at Best Buy, well I can't anyways. I wonder if they are bombarding Best Buys site like they did when the Series X/S came out.

I just tried the Best Buy app on my phone and was able to preorder one with no issue at all. I even got 10% off for my Birthday. 
Total was $95.39 after taxes.
I had it shipped so I should be getting in around March 16.
Strangely enough now I was able to log in to my account on the computer but I still can't add anything to my cart.

If you want one you better get onm the Best Buy app quickly as I'm sure they will be out of stock soon.
