Whenever you start playing this to where you can compete in the Forzathons don't bother trying to do them if you're the only person left. I just did one where there were 3 of us right as it was about to start. With about 10 seconds left they both left leaving me alone. I figured I'd give it a try because me and one other person completed one of them before with less than 3 seconds left but damn if I could even get halfway through the second one. The whole thing lasts for 15 minutes and the first challenge was a speed zone. The game is currently in the winter period so traction isn't exactly the greatest and this zone had 2 sharp turns that would cause your car to slide of the road and fail if you were going too fast so I could just barely go over 100mph each run. For this challenge I had to hit a total of 2000mph so it took me 18 runs to do it and a little over 8 minutes of time. Then the next challenge was a speed trap. These are where you just try to speed past a radar as fast as you can. The problem was it that it was almost 2 miles away from where I was so it took me a minute or so to get there. I shoot through the trap a few times and the total is barely moving. I get up to a total of 600mph and the progress finally moves a little. I keep going while time is counting down. I hit 3 minutes left and I'm sitting at I think 1500mph at this point. I then figure that the game set it that I need to get a total of 5000mph to finish it. That's completely ridiculous for one person when you combine it with the first challenge. I failed the second challenge by only making it to something like 3900mph.

There's a new trailer out for the first expansion but I'm having a hell of a time finding one that isn't a spam attack of #WATCHMEPLAY, #SendMeMoney, #Subscribe!!!! and 100 other bullshit annoyances that everyone does on Youtube on top of a video released by someone else. If I ever find one I'll post it.

I've been trying to complete more of the challenges so I finally finished off the rest of the speed traps and jumps to 3 stars but I'm really having a hard time with the drift zones. I just can't drift worth a damn so I don't think I'll ever get them all to 3 stars. I almost threw my controller at the wall one time when I had to get a score of 125,000 on a drift zone and just by dumb luck I hit something like 124,998 and didn't get it. I was so pissed. I haven't managed to even get anywhere close to that score again on that specific one which makes it even worse.

They really need to do something about the required points when doing the Forzathons when there's only a few people. I just jumped into a game real quick and had about a minute before one started so I jumped to it. I was the only person there so I figured I'd go for at least the 10-20 points I could maybe get by doing one by myself. The first one is a danger sign jump. I hit it my first time and the points jumped up a decent amount. I'd say maybe 10% so I figure I'll be able to do this one fairly quick when all of a sudden on my second jump it seems like that 10% dropped to maybe 5%. Way off in the distance I see another player on the screen. I can't tell if they're actually heading my way or not yet so I keep going jumps as quick as I can. After another jump I notice the point requirement jumped again. Now there's two names on the screen. They finally arrive and we knock out the jump in maybe two minutes and head to round two.

Round two is a speed zone which can be a pain to do and this was one of the worst ones with constant twists and turns. By this time there is a total of four of us. I've noticed on this specific challenge unless you're a highly skilled driver the best score people get is 60-70mph. I usually hit 65 in the cars I drive but squeaked out a 71mph in a Koenigsegg just because of the power of the car. The point requirement on this run was a total of 1250mph so it took us a while to get to it because it's really easy to slide off the road or hit things on the turns and kill your speed. We finish it with barely 8 minutes left.

Round three is a drift zone. At this point I figure we're completely screwed but go for it on the off chance the points requirement isn't too bad. I was wrong. Me and some other person were side by side and we each hit about 35,000 points on our runs. The points bar didn't even move. The other two cross the line shortly after and the score hits about 120,000 and it still doesn't move. We keep going like the Energizer bunny and finally hit 250,000 and the bar finally moves a little. The 5 minute warning pops up so I know with 100% certainty we aren't doing this but keep going to figure out what the requirement is. We hit 500,000 and it's roughly 1/4 of the way full. We still keep going and slowly keep bring up the points. The 3 minute warning pops up and we're at about 750,000 points and it's still not even at the halfway mark. In the end we hit a little over 1,000,000 and still didn't hit the halfway mark. The total was either 2,5000,000 or 3,000,000 which is impossible for four people which is why the need to make some adjustments.

I just did another Forzathon and this time there was around a dozen people right at the start. We had a speed trap, a drift zone and a speed zone. The speed trap only required a total of 2500mph(I've had more than twice this requirement when I was by myself before) so we finished that one in less than 2 minutes. The drift zone also only required 1,5000,000 points and it took us about 5 minutes to complete that one. The speed zone also only had a requirement of 750,000 points which is good for a dozen people but not for one or two.
